If You Let Yours Stray to Westchester Village This Man May Impound It
PORT CHESTER now has an official goat getter. His name is Rocco Fava and his other job is that of Street Cleaning Commissioner, but he has been appointed goat getter also, with instructions to gather up all the strange goats in town and impound them.
The appointment comes as the result of complaints by Nicola Carlucci and others, who say the goats have been killing their trees by barking them. The village trustees heard the complaints and acted.
It was also decided that the police should take a goat census.
