This paper doll was originally printed in The St. Louis Republic, November 30, 1902. That is over 100 years ago!
The instructions say: Here is an attractive paper doll and some garments for it. Cut out the doll and mount it on a piece of heavy cardboard. Then cut out the dresses and hats, being careful not to clip off the dotted lines. Place the garments over the figure and fasten them by turning back the slips in lines. In adjusting the doll’s hat, fold a and b back, then paste together.
