The 1970s saw a revival in the interest of all things psychic. Every day people began researching parapsychology and began performing psychic tests right from their kitchen table.
Moms got involved, as well, and believed that if their children weren’t already psychic, they would teach them to become sensitive to thoughts and emotions.
ESP tests and quizzes were published in the newspapers and in women’s magazines. Everyone wanted to find out if they were already psychic and how they could become psychic.
One particular test, published in The Australian Women’s Weekly (Oct. 19, 1977) was rather thorough in its questioning when it came to whether you have psychic abilities.
Astral Events
According to the article, anyone who has had some form of astral event in their lives has a certain degree of psychic abilities. The astral list includes:
- O.O.B.E. – Have you had an out of body experience where you were able to view or observe your body from a distance?
- Astral Projection – Have you ever felt yourself leave your body?
- Astral Travel – Have you ever left your body and felt yourself flying? Have you had any dreams of flying?
- Astral Body – Have you ever seen your astral body?
- Silver Cord – Have you seen the astral cord that connects your astral self to your physical body?
- Levitation – Has your physical body ever become weightless?
If you have experienced any of the above astral events, you have psychic abilities.
Visual Events
There are also visual events you can experience that show you have psychic abilities.
- Transfiguration – Have you have witnessed your own transfiguration or the transfiguration of another person?
- Transformation into Light – Have you ever seen yourself or another person change into a figure of light?
- Visions – Have you ever had visions without the use of drugs?
- Energy – Are you aware of the energy that surrounds you?
- Mental Telepathy – Are you able to send or receive images – thought transference?
- Dream Recall – Are you able to recall your dreams in detail? Have you ever experienced deja vu?
- Aura – Are you capable of seeing the aura of other people, plants, and/or animals?
If you answered yes to any of the above questions, you have psychic abilities that can be built upon.
