One old superstition tells us to gather twelve fresh sage leaves. Write the names of the Apostles on the leaves and then carry them with us wherever we go. This is said to bring us good fortune.

When the sage plant thrives in the garden, the wife rules in the home.

Drinking sage tea will drive away the evil spirits that cause baldness.

Caring for a sage plant makes a person wise beyond their years.
5. Sickness
If the sage plant begins to whither in the garden, people within the home will also become sick.
6. Future Husband
To dream of your future husband, pluck twelve sage leaves from the garden at midnight and place them under your pillow.
7. Self Esteem
To increase your self esteem, place a fresh sage leaf in each of your shoes.
8. Keep Out Ghosts
To prevent ghosts from entering your home, superstition says to place seven sage leaves under your door mat.
