Have you ever made an old fashioned yarn doll? I actually had a yarn doll very similar to the one shown here from 1949. [1] My grandmother made it out of orange acrylic yarn and topped its head with a black har made out of felt. It was a Halloween yarn doll, but it could have been made for any holiday simply by using different colored yarn.
