The attention of scores of Bristolians was called to a strange light appearing in the sky last night. The light was first noticed by a party of young men who were leaving the Riley grocery store on Kentucky avenue. It was in the southwest and appeared to be turned down. It gradually shifted to the west and disappeared. Whether the light was a comet or an airplane was not determined. Some said it was the exhaust from an airplane because it appeared to be shooting downward.
