Let’s add this one to the list of “I don’t wanna die like that.” Man falls into vat of hot grease and dies.
Dies in Vat of Grease
Chicago, Il., 1917 – Workers in one of the vat rooms in the plant of Wilson & Co. in the stockyards were startled by a shrill scream just before the closing hour yesterday afternoon.
They were unable to account for the cry until a huge vat of hot grease was dragged and the body of Charles Koshlaw, 72, was found.
His corpse was taken to his home.
