The Kite Bird
How would you like to catch a great big bird way up in the sky, and fly away with him to where the sun falls behind the earth? Don’t you think it would be fun to hold tight to the string and play you were going along with him?
Follow the instructions printed on this page, and cut carefully around the bird, paste the wings as indicated, and attack the string for the tail, tie another string through the two holes in the bird’s head and let him fly away.
Listen to his wonderful stories of travel and adventure. He can tell you about any place you wish to know, for the Kite Bird is years and years old, and has been all over the world.
