Gettysburg to commemorate Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address, remember the fallen

Gettysburg, Pa. — Gettysburg will hold its annual Dedication Day ceremony on Saturday, November 19, 2022, beginning at 10:15 a.m.

There will be a wreath laying and music.

A U.S. Naturalization and Citizenship ceremony will also be held at this event to welcome new citizens.

The event is free and open to the public.

Later, from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., luminary candles will light up the graves of the 3,512 Civil War soldiers at the Gettysburg National Cemetery.

The names of the fallen soldiers will be read out throughout the evening.
