Once upon a time, cutting people up and putting the remains in sacks was a popular body disposal method. However, glancing through 21st century crime reports, sacked, mutilated bodies are still as popular as ever.
Mutilated Body Found in Sack
Belton, Tx. — The headless and legless body of a young woman, nude, and tied securely in a sack, is at the morgue here, and search is being made by posses for the slayer.
Fishermen who found the body in Little River are dragging the river in an effort to retrieve the head and legs.
Both legs had been removed from the body apparently with a saw.
The white, soft hands inclined officers to believe that the woman was very refined and unused to hard work.
