A Mysterious Corpse

Sheriff Cameron and Coroner Prime were called to Davenport Wednesday to investigate the case of a corpse found 150 yards from the track.

The body was badly decomposed, but there were suggestions of a violent death.

The suspenders of the dead man were tied about the neck, indicating the possibility of death by strangulation. His pockets revealed some letters, the characters on which can not be deciphered.

Dr. Roberts of Williams has written to Justice Prime that the man was his patient there. His mind was unbalanced and the last heard of him he had started to walk to Flagstaff.

The manner of his death is a mystery and he was buried where he was found. The name of the dead man is believed to have been Biscol.
