The connect the dots below was originally published in 1913. At the time, connect the dots were seldom published in newspapers and they were not called “connect the dots.” Instead, they were listed as “easy drawing lessons.” The idea was to get kids to draw the mystery images and hopefully teach them to draw the image later on without the dots in play.
