Vibrations From War Trenches In Europe Wound Souls Of Babies Born In America

There were some wild and crazy ideas being put out there over 100 years ago. This little article has got to be one of the nuttiest. Of course, I could just be lacking the proper vision (only having one mother and one father) to fully grasp the consequence of this woman’s visions.

Vibrations From War Trenches In Europe Wound Souls Of Babies Born In America

New York, April 11. — According to Mrs. Eleanor Lambert, psychic and eugenist, who prophesied the present war five years ago—

“Europe is being populated with ghosts that folk over there will never be able to get away from.”

“Babies born in America while the war rages in Europe are wounded in their little souls by vibrations from the trenches.”

“Through these ‘war babies’ and the influence for evil and blood that the war has on adults, the United States will reap her harvest in blood — the blood of capitalists and laborers.”

There are the psychic thoughts born eugenically within Mrs. Lambert’s brain as she sat with half closed eyes reading the pages of the history of the future, which are as clear to her as the newspaper page is to the average person.

“Even while people are listening to my words or reading them,” said Mrs. Lambert, “the thought vibrations from their bodies are being influenced by the thought vibrations being radiated from the millions of men in Europe whose one thought is to kill and keep from being killed. If those poor soldiers only knew enough to follow their friends and relatives in the spirit world, they could save themselves from death.

“Among my friends is a veteran of the civil war whose life was saved again and again by his following the spirit of his mother. Once, stung by the ridicule of his companions, he refused to be guided by her, and as a result he suffered a severe wound.

“There is the mother-quality in ALL nature,” said Mrs. Lambert, as her spiritual self went off into the spiritual world, while her physical self remained right here in a hotel in New York, watched by her husband.

“This mother quality draws inspiration from fire, from the forces of the air, from the forces of the earth, from the forces of the water. I am in it, with it. I am a part of it.”

Gradually returning to this world of clanging street cars and skyscraper apartment houses, Mrs. Lambert said:

“This mother quality I have put into my play, ‘The Prince of Peace,’ the inspiration of which came to me when an angel, floating before mine eyes, held before me a red heart out of which flowed streams of blood.

“So the eugenic play with a baby as the hero was born. This baby has a cosmic conscience, also three fathers! The ideal eugenic baby, it seems from this play, must have four parents, a mother and three fathers.

“Such babies as these,” said Mrs. Lambert, “are America’s only salvation. The only way to prevent this horrible bloodshed that I predict is to have eugenic babies born with seven senses.”

What are the sixth and seventh senses?

“The sixth is clairvoyance,” said Mrs. Lambert, “and the seventh clairaudience.”
