Cats do the damnedest things, and it appears that a certain Tom cat made a point of scaring off the new neighbors in Frog Hollow back in 1905.
House Haunted
An Italian family, by the name of LaTelle, about six months ago moved into a house in Frog Hollow. A few days ago they vacated the premises claiming that the house was haunted.
They said they saw queer lights in the cellar and heard unearthly noises there at all hours of the night, which so frightened Mrs. LaTelle that they were compelled to move out.
Jack Cramer says that he could locate the ghost without any trouble. In fact, it lives in the house with him.
He says it is a large yellow Thomas cat belonging to him and he had seen it go over to the house and enter the cellar through a broken window and has heard it cry, but learned of the people’s fears too late to relieve them.
